CLYDE VALLEY EASTER EGG RUN 2003
Below are some pics from the day...

Well the sun was shining and the time was 12 o clock we had just started to arrive at the Broomfield Tavern, the usual line up of Vespas (200's, T5's and a PX125 or so) as well as the one and only Lambretta in the club. After taking some photos and the usual 'I need to get petrol', 'I need to get fags' etc, etc... we were off. 14 members had managed to drag themselves onto the road that day, with the others giving the usaul 'family and work commitments' speel. 

We get to Mickey Oates fashionably late...well nothing like a grand entrance with over 100 scooters waiting and after a few hellos and a quick look at the other scooters, it was off we go though the town up to the sick kids hospital. it was a buzz to have all the scooters going through the town, got some cracking looks from the street and after all that's what its about. the usual route was taken, although for some reason we missed Argyll Street, not sure why as don't know who was leading the way. After dropping off the eggs at the A&E, it was back to the car park and have a chat and an other look at some of the scooters that had came along. We decided to go back via Uddingston to the Windmill for a pint and then off back to AIR-D-E-REEE to get ready for the do in the Broomfield. The Broomfield is only a small pub so did not take long for it to fill and once the drink took hold, so did the dance floor and the usual sounds belted out over the course of the night. And it turned out to be a pretty good night to top of a great day....Jim.

THE CVS WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERY CLUB AND SOLO RIDERS WHO TURNED UP AT THE RUN WITH EGGS...WE WOULD ALSO LIKE TO THANK ALL WHO TURNED UP AT THE DO AND THANK THE STAFF OF THE BROOMFIELD.
